Monterey Bay Kayaks

This shorter tour is a perfect family getaway to discover the wonders of the bay—big and small! Both locations provide wonderful wildlife and paddling adventures. We use open deck doubles or triples for everyone's comfort level. Wetsuits included but not required. (Recommended for families with small children.)

Renting kayaks from Monterey Bay Kayaks makes it easy to explore the different paddling areas of Monterey Bay and Elkhorn Slough on your own. Choose your location and a kayak appropriate to your skill level and get ready to have fun!

Rental rates include the following:

• Gear Provided: wetsuit, life jacket, paddling jacket, paddle and of course the kayak.
• On-Land Orientation: basic info, local weather forecasts, wildlife viewing guidelines and an overview of the paddling area map.
