Gardens -- Located thirty miles south of San Francisco on the eastern slope of the Coast Range, the 654-acre Filoli Estate is recognized as one of the finest remaining country estates of the early 20th century. The historic house is surrounded by sixteen acres of formal gardens. Guided House & Garden Tours are available, by reservation, during the open season. This package includes a two-hour docent led tour through both the house and gardens. Contact Visitor Services for tour times and to make tour reservations at 650-364-8300 x 507. Or self-guided tours are available Tuesday through Saturday. The Filoli Center Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10AM-3:30PM (last admission 2:30PM) Sunday 11AM-3:30PM (last admission 2:30PM)

Goat Cheese -- Born in Yorkshire, England, Dee Harley realized her dream of blending family, local farming and gourmet food, Dee started Harley Farms in 1993 with just six goats. Guests receive a "behind the scenes" look at the workings of an award winning goat dairy farm. Follow the flow of the milk - from the goats to the cheese making. Meet their friendly goats, milk a goat, learn how to make goat cheese. Enjoy a cheese tasting upstairs in their refurbished hay loft. The tour lasts about 2 hours (although it often goes longer due to high interest and many questions! ) Visit the cheese shop and take home delicious goat cheese! Tours on Saturdays at 1PM.
