Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens - Admission. The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is a place of beauty and serenity, of education, research and conservation, of history and stewardship. Visit and enjoy the exquisite exhibits of California native plants set in beautifully designed landscapes. Visit their newest exhibit: the Discovery Garden. Brilliantly conceived, this garden weaves educational materials into a sensitively designed landscape to create a fun, hands-on exhibit where visitors of all ages can experience the beauty of California native flora and fauna and learn about their important ecological relationships. The Garden is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and during some special events.
