Aquarium of the Bay at PIER 39 is a unique educational and entertainment facility dedicated to the rich and diverse aquatic life of the San Francisco Bay and its surrounding waters. The Aquarium provides a window to the Bay that focuses on its distinctive ecosystems and seeks to entertain, educate and inspire preservation of the wonderful natural resource. Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise Adventure. Experience the thrilling history of the San Francisco Bay with Captain Nemo and his crew reliving 150 years of the celebrated San Francisco Coast. There is no better way to experience unobstructed views of sensational skylines in every direction. It’s a great vantage point for snapping pictures or simply reflecting on the vast beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Along the way, you will be entertained with historical, fun narration and factual tid-bits. That’s why the Bay Adventure has become San Francisco’s newest cruise adventure! The Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise Adventure departs daily with frequent departures year-round from PIER 39.
San Francisco Sightseeing Trolley Hop. Enjoy a 1-hour narrated tour aboard an authentic motorized cable car. Drive through San Francisco’s most scenic neighborhoods such as Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Nob Hill, Downtown, Union Square (Macy’s), Chinatown, and Ghirardelli Square. Passengers can hop on or off at the following stations beginning at 10AM: PIER 39/Hard Rock Cafe, Ghirardelli Square and Union Square.
Wax Museum. One of the most prestigious wax museums in the world, located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, showcasing over 275 expertly crafted wax figures. The figures are presented in collages featuring world leaders, movie stars, sports personalities and the Chamber of Horrors! Your self-guided tour averages about 45 minutes. Open daily from 9AM – 10PM. 145 Jefferson Street between Mason and Taylor Streets.
